Why do you need this cold-smoking bundle?

Applying too high temperature may have an adverse effect on the smoked meat, and this is when a cold smoke

adapter will come in handy. With the right weather conditions, this appliance, if correctly set, will allow you to

achieve the optimal smoking temperature. The only thing you have to remember is supplying it with wood

chips, and it will pay you back with delicious, aromatic smoked meat

Smoking with cold smoke takes place at temperatures up to 24°C. It takes several hours up to 16 days (except that smoking products should not be in smoke all the time). Normally, the generator is switched on for 2 hours in the morning and two hours in the evening, unless the recipe we use indicates otherwise.

The smoke generator has a 110W heater. This heater can heat up to 40°C. The adapter allows you to lower the temperature to the conditions of cold smoking, and as a result, we obtain a temperature in the chamber only by 2 degrees higher than the atmospheric temperature.

The adapter is mounted to the generator and connected with a spiro (flex) pipe to the chamber. The length of the smoke supply pipe should be within the range of 1.2 – 2m.

We make sure that all items are packed securely in a bubble wrap and a heavy box. Our food smokers are shipped on a pallet. We use Tuffnels Courier to ship small smokers or UK Pallets Courier for larger smokers. Each smoker is packed in a sturdy box and strapped to the pallet, so it gets to your doorstep in a perfect condition. Once we dispatch your order you will receive an email with shipping details and tracking. The pallet courier will contact you before the planned delivery day. Usually smokers are delivered within 3-5 days from placing the order with us. There is no way to schedule a certain time of smoker delivery with the courier.

There are additional shipping cost involved if you live in Highlands, Channel Islands or Ireland.

During the checkout process, our shop system will calculate the appropriate shipping cost based on your address.
