😋How Americans smoke brisket

✅2 kg / 4.4 lbs brisket
✅40 grams / 1.4 oz Texas Beef Rub
✅500 grams 1.1 lbs Mac N Cheese
✅500 grams / 1.1 lbs Baked Beans

✅Prepare the brisket by trimming the fat from the brisket and slicing off floppy bits that otherwise will burn.
✅Prepare 40 grams or 1.4 oz of Texas Beef Rub according to it’s recipe.
✅Season all sides of the brisket.
✅Fire up your smoker and set it up for an indirect smoking temperature of ✅120°C or 250°F.🔥
✅Smoke your brisket smoke in your BBQ for 4 hours.
✅Raise up the temperature to 140°C or 280°F 🔥 and let it smoke for 2 hours to get rid of the puddles forming on top of the brisket.
✅Wrap the brisket in aluminium foil or butchers paper and add any excess fat drippings that you might have catched during the cook.
✅Place the brisket in an oven tray and add ½ cup of water.
✅Place the brisket in an oven that can be set for a temperature of 65°C or 150°F and let it steam in it’s own moisture for 10 hours.
✅Unwrap the brisket and slice into your brisket.
✅Serve some slices on a tray along with our Baked Beans recipe and our delicious Mac N Cheese.
