Fired Cooked Surf & Turf Every now and again, its good to push the boat out and treat yourself a little and that’s exactly what I did here with this fire cooked surf & turf. This isn’t just any surf & turf, this is a tomahawk steak and lobster surf & turf! And to elevate it to another level, I’ve used Cape Herb & Spice seasonings with Texan Steakhouse on the steak and Louisiana Cajun on the lobster. The premium quality of these rubs really shine through, delivering bold, authentic flavours which compliment fire cooked food perfectly! I’m not going to lie, this was an absolute delight! This will serve 3-4 people, or 2 people if you’re feeling hungry! Why not give this a go yourself? Here’s a couple of handy tips to help you on your way… Tip 1. When cooking a thick steak, you want to bring it to temperature slowly then sear over extremely high heat to get the caramelisation. This ensures edge to edge blushing pink steak. Tip 2. Add some of your Cape Herb & Spice rub to butter. This gives you a super easy and tasty baste for whatever it is you’re cooking, helping to keep it moist whilst adding plenty of flavour! Enjoy! #ad #capeherbandspice #surfnturf #steak #lobster #bbq #firecook #ukbbq #thesmokinelk
