❤️Nadusia, she is 14 months old, she is fighting SMA, she needs gene therapy!
Spinal muscular atrophy (SMA) is a disorder affecting the motor neurons—nerve cells that control voluntary muscle movement. These cells are located in the spinal cord. Because the muscles cannot respond to signals from the nerves, they atrophy — weaken and shrink — from inactivity.

❤️Helenka, she is 2 years old. She needs treatment and rehabilitation, becasue of mutation in the STXBP1 gene.
Pathogenic variants (“mutations”) in the STXBP1 gene cause a spectrum of neurodevelopmental disorders that can include early-onset epilepsy and developmental delay, sometimes accompanied by autism spectrum disorder, increased or decreased muscle tone, or movement disorders.
