About SmokeHouse Guru

SmokeHouse Guru smokers for food has been created by three friends who like to smoke :) food, of course.

We love to prepare our own food, which is definitely tastier and healthier than the food available in shops.

Smoking own hams, sausages or fish was not an easy task a few years back when you had to start the fire in your wooden smokehouse or a barrel. It was a tedious task to monitor the temperature and smoke volume for hours. It was hard work to make a perfectly smoked ham or salmon. There was a time that we lost our passion for smoking food.


we have found Borniak Smokers - a polish manufacturer of electric smokehouses. Firstly, we thought that electric smoker is not for us, because it is an electric device and the meat will not taste the same as from the traditional wood smoker. We were curious how that electric smoker works and we bought the basic model of the electric smokehouse. A big box came and we were so excited to test the smokehouse straight away.

The first food we smoked was a fresh trout because smoking a fish takes only 4-5 hours. It was really easy to assembly the smokehouse and install the electric smoke generator. The smoke generator has been filled with wood chips provided by Borniak and within a few minutes, we could see and smell the smoke. It was as easy as counting 1,2,3...



We then sat and drunk our beers waiting for the fish. We didn't have to add any wood chips or constantly check the temperature of our fish with this electric smoker.









The fish came out perfectly. It was smoked for 4 hours in the smoker. It tasted delicious.

Then we smoked ham and guess what... :) It was delicious too and it was so easy to smoke the ham. We just set the temperature and filled the wood chips container up. No hassle at all.  Here's the pic of our first ham smoked in Borniak Smokehouse.

After smoking a few more hams, sausages and fish we thought that it's a brilliant smoker which makes the smoking process very easy. You only need to know the recipe, temperature of smoking/cooking and you're already a smoking master with Borniak Smokers.
